Biometric Information An individual’s physiological, biological, or behavioral characteristics, including information about an individual’s deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), that is used or is intended to be used singly or with each other or with other identifying data, to establish individual identity. Biometric information includes, but is not limited to, imagery of the iris, retina, fingerprint, face, hand, palm, vein patterns, and voice recordings, from which an identifier template, such as a faceprint, a minutiae template, or a voiceprint, can be extracted, and keystroke patterns or rhythms, gait patterns or rhythms, and sleep, health, or exercise data that contain identifying information. Geolocation Data Any data that is derived from a device, and that is used or intend ed to be used to locate a consumer within a geographic area that is equal to or less than the area of a circle with a radius of 1,850 feet, except as may be otherwise prescribed by regulations. Legitimate Interest When we have a business or commercial reason to use your information, so long as this is not overridden by your own rights and interest. - Personal Information We Collect About You. Internet or other electronic network activity information (e.g., browsing history, search history, and information regarding a consumer’s interaction with an Internet Website, application, or advertisement) - Our third party service provider, Google, may collect certain analytics data from you, which includes, but is not limited to, number of users, session statistics, and browser and device information. Geolocation Data - Our third party service provider, Google, may collect certain analytics data from you based on the use of our Services, which includes, among other information, your Geolocation Data. For additional information, please see Section 5 – Who We Share Your Personal Information With.
Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or similar information - We have not collected audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory, or other similar information in the preceding twelve (12) months.
Professional or employment-related information - Prior employment history (only applicable to our job applicants);
- Employment as a teacher;
- Employment as a librarian.
Education information, defined as information that is not publicly available personally identifiable information as defined in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) - Education background and history (only applicable to our job applicants)

- How your Personal Information is Collected. We collect most personal information directly form you (i.e., in person, by telephone, via text or email, or through our website). However, we may also collect information from the following categories of sources:

Our online store is powered by Shopify, a third-party service provider that provide e-commerce support. Among other services, Shopify assists us in the tracking and placement of orders from our customers, and manages and processing payments made by you for our products. Shopify collects data to track your purchase history, and allow us to customize the services we provide to you on our online shop. Shopify also collected certain payment information on our behalf to process your payments for our products. - Shop Pay. At checkout, we provide you the option to make a payment via Shop Pay, a payment processing application by Shopify. The collected data is used by Shopify to process payments on our behalf. Shopify may use the collected data for additional purposes. We only allow service providers to handle your personal information if we are satisfied that they take appropriate measures to protect your personal information. We also impose contractual obligations on service providers, contractors, and third parties to ensure that they can only use your personal information to provide services to us and to you.
We may disclose and exchange information with law enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
We may also need to share some personal information with other parties, such as potential buyers of some or all of our business or as a result of re-structuring. Third parties have content embedded on our websites, such as a social feature or a stock ticker, which may set cookies on a consumer’s browser and/or obtain information about the fact that a web browser visited a specific BOOKOFF USA website from a certain IP address. Third parties cannot collect any other personally identifiable information from BOOKOFF USA’s website unless you provide such information directly.
